Six winners were recognised for their creativity, innovation and outstanding design at the devcom award 2025 across six categories. Don Daglow was honoured as "Ambassador" of the games industry.

The first day of the 2025 devcom developer conference ended on a high note with the premiere edition of the devcom award on Monday evening.

Hosted by Deborah Mensah-Bonsu, the live show featured appearances by: André Bernhardt (Indie Advisor), Daria La Valle (Project Director, gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show), Gustavo Steinberg (CEO, gamescom latam), Christopher Kellner (Head of Business Development, astragon Entertainment), Marie Mejerwall (Consultant & Game Director), and Stephan Reichart (Managing Director, devcom).

    About the devcom award 2025: "For the Indie Games categories, our partners Epic Games Store, IGDA, Spielfabrique and astragon Entertainment selected the winners from all participants of this year's devcom indie expo. For the categories "Game Design Excellence" and "Ambassador" all current devcom speakers were asked to cast their votes."
