The second Gamestate Festival BW will take place in less than a month, this time in Karlsruhe. Both the programme and the speakers are now confirmed. Attendance is free, but the number of participants is limited.

The Gamestate Festival BW 2024 will take place on 12 July 2024 at the SmartProductionPark, Rintheimer Str. 21-23, in Karlsruhe. Gamestate is organized by MFG, game Baden-Württemberg and the Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaftsbüro Karlsruhe. The Festival has taken place 2023 for the first time (in Stuttgart). Participation is free of charge, but unfortunately the number of participants is limited. Registration for the event is possible until 5 July 2024.

The aim of the meeting is to strengthen local exchange and highlight future development opportunities. The programme is available here. The roundtables will focus on mentally sustainable game development, getting started in the industry, and funding games in the state. The talks will cover game pitches to publishers, legal aspects of using AI in games, salary payments and insights into the life of an indie developer. The closing party will provide further opportunities for networking.
