Although the Netherlands is not a Top 5 gaming market in Europe in revenue, its games industry is exceptionally strong. This is also evident at the Netherlands Pavilion of the Dutch Games Association, which will be home to over 20 partners at gamescom.

The Dutch Games Association (DGA) has unveiled the line-up for this year's Netherlands Pavilion at gamescom. Nearly two dozen companies and institutions will once again make the booth in the business area the meeting place for the Dutch games industry and all companies wishing to connect with it.

The Netherlands is very attractive both as a sales market and as a production country for games and game services. According to the DGA, sales of games in the Netherlands grew by double digits between 2021 and 2023 and now stand at 763 million euros. According to the association, Dutch companies are also particularly strong on PlayStation platforms.

As in previous years, Cologne will host a cross-section of the industry, including classic studios such as BlackMill Games and Gamious, experienced publishers such as Iceberg Interactive, globally recognised service providers such as Newzoo, and digital distribution specialists such as VaultN. The programme will be rounded off by representatives from the city of Rotterdam and B'Game, the gaming incubator from Breda.
