Best Family Brands: Nintendo Beats PlayStation and Apple
Together with the SZ Institut of Süddeutsche Zeitung, YouGov Germany has identified the top family brands of 2024. Netflix is ahead in the overall ranking, while Nintendo beats the competition in the consumer electronics sector.

No dedicated gaming brand made it into the top ten of the overall evaluation, in which over 1000 brands were considered and evaluated, but three video streaming companies did. Netflix even came first with a score of 2020, ahead of IKEA and Disney+. Amazon Prime Video made it into eighth place with a score of 1985. It is also worth noting that toy brands also made it into the top ten with above-average frequency: Lego came in fourth, Playmobil fifth and Schleich tenth.
