In Leipzig werden Konsumenten erstmals die PlayStation-2-Version von Capcoms Erfolgsprodukt "Resident Evil 4" antesten dürfen.

CEG Interactive Entertainment wartet zur GC - Games Convention mit einer Weltpremiere auf. Erstmals werden in Leipzig Endkonsumenten die PS2-Version von "Resident Evil 4" antesten können. Der Release der PS2-Version ist für November geplant. Auf der GC wird der Titel jedoch in einem abgesperrten Bereich gezeig, zu dem Jugendliche unter 18 Jahren keinen Zutritt haben. Die "Resident Evil"-Reihe gilt als Wegbereiter des Survival-Horror-Genres. In den vergangenen Jahren wurden weltweit insgesamt 25 Mio. Units der verschiedenen Teile verkauft.
