Carolin Wendt is filling a new role at CD Projekt Red: From February 2026 onward, she is Content Creator Strategist Expert. Wendt had been Lead International Community since April 2024 and Acting Lead in that position beforehand for more than a year (we reported then, in German). She has been part of CDPR since 2019, when she started there as Community Manager GSA.

When asked by GamesMarket, Wendt said: "Moving from the Community team to this new role obviously brings a lot of different thoughts and feelings, but I think the biggest are gratitude and excitement. Helping to build a community, and actually getting to know so many of our community members so well over the years brought me a lot of joy and incredible memories. Today, we have such a great team built around our community across the globe, and I know they are in fantastic hands. My new role is also about building connections and forging relationships, but now I’ll be focusing my energy on something we haven’t really concentrated on for a while. For the last few years, we haven't had a dedicated team centered solely on creators, so I’ll be building something from the ground up. And the best part is that I’ll be shaping it together with many teams at CDPR. There’s a lot of groundwork to be done as we build a strategy, identify opportunities for the long term, and just get going with all the legwork that goes into something like this. I can’t wait to get started."

Wendt further said: “It was time for a new challenge and I'm really excited to get going!

For the last 7 years, it has been my absolute joy & honour to take care of our - German & then international – community. If you are part of the community, please know that you made the ride fun, exciting and rewarding – thank you for everything.”
