Nvidia is rolling out the Blackwell RTX upgrade for GeForce Now servers, which will be equipped with GeForce RTX 5080 SuperPODs. The hardware upgrade will first be carried out in Frankfurt and Paris in Europe.
The Blackwell RTX upgrade, featuring GeForce RTX 5080 SuperPODs, is launching for GeForce Now cloud gaming. Members of the GeForce Now Ultimate programme who connect to GFN servers in Frankfurt and Paris (Europe) and San Jose, Los Angeles, Chicago and Newark (US) will be the first to experience this hardware upgrade. The latest cities with updated servers will be announced on GFN Thursday, so members will know in advance which cities will be next. Additionally, the Install-to-Play feature will be available worldwide from day one, enabling everyone to access new titles right from launch.
