devcom is fast approaching and the conference programme is filling up. In addition to new speakers, the devcom team has also provided an update on the side events.

Recent speakers on the list include Jason Latino, Cinematic Director at Larian Studios, Mihir Sheth, Game Director at SIE Santa Monica Studio, Stéphane Roy, former Vice President & Studio Head at WB Games Montreal and Thorolfur Beck Kristjonsson, Game Designer/Principle World Builder Speakers at NARC Limited. The Narrative Panel, moderated by Sarah Makdad (A Plague Tale: Innocence, World War Z, What the Golf?), will include: Adrienne Law (Larian Studios), Helen Hindpere (Disco Elysium) and Meghna Jayanth (Sable, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Sunless Sea, Boyfriend Dungeon, This War of Mine).

In addition, Sasha Ciolac & Bert Zierfuss (IO Interactive), Donald Barrett, Matthew Strasser, Terrance Cohen, Brittney Morris (Insomniac Games), Moritz Lehr (CD Projekt RED), Hytham Morsi, Osama Dorias & Caleb Epps (Brass Lion Entertainment), Daniel Wewerinke, Wessel Mast (Guerilla), Nickole Li (Mojang Studios), Erwin Kho, Mikkel Svendsen (Geometric Interactive), Philomena Schwab (Stray Fawn Studio), Nina Kim (Rare Ltd.) and Alexandra Lia Grindean (Avalanche Studios) announced lectures.

In addition to the new content, there is also new information about the side events. For the first time, the devcom team is collaborating with Community Clubhouse, who will be presenting a full day programme on Tuesday (20 August). The Speaker & VIP Networking Dinner, where the devcom Indie Awards will also be presented, will take place in the Wolkenburg this year and not in the Flora as in previous years. As in previous years, there will also be the Run Club, a Sunset Mixer Party on Monday and the Developer Night & Courage Cologne on Tuesday. There will also be free water stations, a business and speakers' lounge and, for the first time, a Silence Room. The awareness teams on site are well established and will be available in this area and throughout the venue again, ensuring they are approachable and ready to assist.
