The fifth Czech & Slovak Games Week starts today, with a digital showcase presenting games from both European countries.

Together with partners, the Czech Game Developers Association (GDACZ) and the Slovak Game Developers Association (SGDA) are organising the fifth Czech & Slovak Games Week, a celebration of games from the two Central European countries. The first issue of the games week has been held in 2020. The games week celebrates the national holiday of both former cojoined countries seceeding from the soviet union in 1989 on 17 November.

The Czech & Slovak Games Week kicks off with a digital showcase today, on 11 November at 20:00 p.m.. It is supposed to include world premiere releases, developer commentary and content for existing games from the region.

The event is organized and initiated by the GDACZ in cooperation with the SGDA and the companies Arkance Systems CZ, Centurion Developments, Filuta AI, and Nine Rock Games. The media partners are the production of the show Indian and the video game archive Visiongame.cz.
