Following the demo's "Very Positive" reception, Bloodgrounds now invites players to experience its full single-player campaign, which features five distinct ages (Steam). They can choose from nine gladiator classes, build and upgrade thirteen structures, and master an arsenal of weapons, equipment and consumables, rising from nameless slave to arena legend in the process. The Early Access version already includes the complete narrative campaign, and additional content, balancing and features will be added and refined towards the planned 1.0 release in early 2026. More detailed plans regarding the direction of the Early Access version can be found here.

Daedalic: "Bloodgrounds blends brutal, tactical grid combat with deep squad management, RPG progression, and roguelite elements. Players step into the sandals of a once-enslaved gladiator turned wealthy patron, commanding teams of physical, ranged, and magical fighters across blood-soaked arenas."
