Phillip Ebben is handing over the reins as Managing Director and Chairman of the E-Sport Verband Schleswig-Holstein (Schleswig-Holstein E-Sports Association; EV.SH) to Nele Schmidt. This change marks the start of a new phase of development for the association. "EV.SH is now stable, prominent and well connected. This is the result of a strong team and a dedicated board," says Phillip Ebben. "I am delighted that the new leadership will provide fresh impetus to advance esports in the state boldly and strategically."

The newly elected board is optimistic about the future. "We are taking on responsibility at a time when esports in Schleswig-Holstein are experiencing unprecedented growth," says Nele Schmidt. "Our task is to harness this momentum, expand structures further, and make the interests of the esports community more visible in politics, business, and society. " The new board also thanks the previous board for its work.

With five regional esports centres and a large number of active clubs, Schleswig-Holstein considers itself a leader in the German esports landscape. "The infrastructure that has been created here is regarded as a nationwide model and offers young talent and established organisations alike a professional home," writes the association.
