Eidos hat den dänischen Entwickler IO interactive erworben. Das Studio zeichnet unter anderern für die "Hitman"-Reihe verantwortlich. Der Schritt sichert Eidos die zukünftigen Rechte an der Serie. Zusätzlich will Eidos nun die IO-Technologie verstärkt auch für andere Produkte nutzen und ihr eine Schlüsselrolle in der Entwicklung von Next-Generation-Titeln zuweisen. "Hitman: Contracts", der dritte Teil der Serie, soll am 30. April für PC, PlayStation 2 und Xbox erscheinen.
