Der britische Publisher Eidos hat den Entwickler RockPool Games gekauft und will so Fuß auf dem Markt für mobiles Gaming fassen.

Eidos hat den englischen Mobile-Games-Anbieter RockPool Games gekauft. Mit dem Erwerb will der britische Publisher seine Position auf dem Markt für Casual- und Mobile-Gaming ausbauen. Eidos hat mit dem Erwerb auch die Kontrolle über die beiden RockPool-Schwestern Ironstone Partners und SoGoPlay übernommen. Zum Kaufpreis ist derzeit nichts bekannt.

RockPool zeichnete in der Vergangenheit für die mobilen Umsetzungen der Marken "Worms", "MotoGP" und "Toca Race Driver" verantwortlich.
