Weltmarktführer Electronic Arts (EA) setzt auf Prozessoren aus dem Hause AMD. Das gab der Publisher heute bekannt. EA hat seinen Entwicklerstudios weltweit empfohlen ihre Desktop-PCs und Workstations mit AMD-Prozessoren auszustatten. Außer in die Entwicklung sollen AMD-Systeme auch in die Bereiche Vertrieb, Finanzen, Marketing und Verwaltung Einzug finden. "Ausschlaggebend für den weltweiten Einsatz von AMD Athlon MP-Prozessoren als Teil unserer Entwicklungsworkstations waren die Rechenleistung, die Kompatibilität und die Robustheit. Diese Punkte tragen dazu bei, den Designprozess für Spiele zu beschleunigen", sagte Scott Cronce, Vice President und Chief Technology Officer Electronic Arts Inc.
