Over 120 people came to the third Game Playtest Night in Hamburg to test video games developed in Hamburg. The event was held at Xperion. Gamecity Hamburg is planning to repeat the event in the future.

12 games, 99 gaming stations, 125 players and three hours of playtesting - these are the figures for the biggest Game Playtest Night to date, organised by Gamecity Hamburg. Developers from Hamburg were able to register in advance for the public playtesting session, which attracted many game enthusiasts to Xperion / Media Markt on the evening of 10 April 2025. Developers were able to engage in an open dialogue with their audience and gather feedback on their unreleased games. In return, gamers were able to try out a dozen unreleased games.

The following studios from Hamburg took part: About Cannons & Sparrows (About Cannons & Sparrows), Aspiration Labs (Cyber Climb), Fading Skies (Distant Blue), Microtale and Cratr.games (Heart of Muriet), Paul Schwotzer (Jet Bot), Duck 'n' Run Games (Light of Atlantis), Pipapo Games (Map Map – A Game About Maps), Space Game Studio (Mothership), Amberdive Interactive (Replicore), SalsaShark Studios (Super Chipflake Ü: Quest for the Uncooked Schnitzel), Tobias Schlieperskötter and Bagpack Games (The Patient) and Positive Impact Games (The Regreening).

Gamecity Hamburg is working closely with Hamburg-based games companies to plan future dates for the Game Playtest Night.
