Even before the official reveal at Star Wars Celebration Japan, Electronic Arts announced Star Wars Zero Company, developed by Bit Reactor in collaboration with Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games.

Electronic Arts has confirmed the production of a new Star Wars game: Star Wars Zero Company, developed by Bit Reactor in partnership with Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games. Bit Reactor was founded in 2022 by individuals who previously worked on XCOM, Civilization, Gears of War and The Elder Scrolls Online.

"Recruit an unconventional team of operatives and deploy them on missions unlike any other in the galaxy far, far away in Star Wars Zero Company," Lucasfilm Games says. The game is a single-player turn-based tactics game. It will be released for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The first details of the game, which is currently in development, will be revealed at Star Wars Celebration Japan on 19 April. Leaks from 2023 suggest that the game will be very reminiscent of modern XCOM.

EA's previous games in the Star Wars franchise are: Star Wars Squadrons (2020), Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (2019) & Survivor (2023), Star Wars Battlefront (2015) & Battlefront II (2017), Star Wars: The Old Republic (2011) and Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes (2015).
