Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Maintains Its Position, Aerosoft's SubwaySim 2 Makes It Into the German Top 20
Thanks to a lot of positive word-of-mouth, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 holds the second place in the weekly Steam charts, ahead of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. SubwaySim 2 from Simuverse Interactive and Aerosoft makes it into the German Top 20.
Although Counter-Strike 2 has regained the top spot, the positions behind it in the weekly Steam charts (29 April to 6 May 2025) are even more interesting. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 from Sandfall Interactive and Kepler Interactive has maintained its position thanks to consistently good word of mouth and excellent reviews - and even set a new CCU record (145,063; previously 121,422) in its second weekend after launch. The role-playing game has sold more than two million copies across all platforms to date, despite being included on Xbox Game Pass. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered leaves the top spot and is now in third place.
According to Alinea Analytics, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered generated over $60 million in gross revenue in April. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 made $26.5 million. Other April sales include The Last of Us Part II: Remastered made $16.8 million, RuneScape: Dragonwilds brought in $13 million, Tempest Rising $4 million and Blue Prince $3.8 million.
Back to the weekly charts. SubwaySim 2, set in Hamburg and Berlin, from Simuverse Interactive and Aerosoft, has made it to number 13 in the German charts. The game did not make it into the top 100 worldwide.
The return of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and Star Wars Outlaws can be attributed to discounts on Star Wars Day (May the Fourth). Internationally, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is in 23rd place and Star Wars Outlaws is in 48th place.
Rust and V Rising made big jumps in the charts thanks to a major content update, as did Stellaris and Crusader Kings III, both games from Paradox received new DLC. Runescape: Dragonwilds is no longer in the top 20.
