Under the new partnership, Nodwin Gaming will not only be responsible for selling media rights to the Esports World Cup in South Asia. The company will also take on additional representative duties as marketing partner of the EWC Foundation.

In India in particular, Nodwin Gaming will act as a marketing partner for the Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) to design and implement local campaigns, but also to support initiatives that are in line with the EWCF's goals of promoting esports and gaming culture worldwide.

In addition to India, the partners also name Bangladesh, Nepal and the surrounding countries in South Asia.

Nodwin Gaming is one of the leading esports experts in the region and has also become increasingly prominent in Europe in recent years. In mid-2024, Nodwin Gaming acquired Freaks 4U from Berlin, having only acquired a stake in the company a few months earlier.

Nodwin's parent company, Narara Technologies, had in turn acquired publisher Curce Games in May 2025. Nodwin Gaming had also already entered into a partnership with the Global Esport Foundation (GEF). As a portfolio management company, Nodwin had secured the right to organise GEF-licensed events in emerging markets, including South and Central Asia, Africa, the Middle East and parts of South East Asia.

"The Esports World Cup is a landmark moment for global esports, and we’re proud to partner with the EWCF to bring that experience to South Asia. This partnership is about more than just broadcasting a tournament - it’s about building a bridge between South Asia’s incredibly passionate gaming communities and the global stage that the EWCF represents. Whether it’s in India, Bangladesh, Nepal or beyond, our goal is to make world-class esports content more accessible than ever," says Akshat Rathee, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Nodwin Gaming.

And Mike McCabe, COO of the Esports World Cup Foundation, adds: "Our mission at the Esports World Cup Foundation is to create lasting impact for the global esports industry by setting new competitive benchmarks and forging partnerships that understand the nuances of each region. South Asia represents an incredibly dynamic and fast-growing gaming market, and Nodwin Gaming brings unparalleled knowledge, reach, and local trust to this ecosystem."
