The current EU funding round for games is now taking submissions. Until 11 February 2026,  game developers can apply for Creative Europe Media funding.

The next EU funding call for Video Games and Immersive content development is here. Submissions are open right now, with the deadline being 11 February 2026. The Creative Europe Media call looks “to increase the capacity of European video game producers, XR studios and audiovisual production companies to develop video games and interactive immersive experiences with the potential to reach global audiences. The support also aims to improve the competiveness of the European video games industry and other companies producing interactive immersive content in European and international markets by enabling the retention of intellectual property by European developers.”

The current submission deadlines for different media categories:

Content Cluster

  • December 3, 2025: European slate development
  • December 3, 2025: TV and online content
  • February 11, 2026: Video games and immersive content development
  • February 25, 2026: European co-development

Business Cluster

  • January 20, 2026 Markets & Networking
  • January 15, 2026 Innovative tools and business models

Audience Cluster

  • April 8, 2026 European VOD networks and operators
  • March 19, 2026 Films on the Move
