Blizzard Entertainment will not be holding its community convention this year. Instead, the next BlizzCon will take place as usual at the Anaheim Convention Center in September 2026.

Blizzard Entertainment has announced a new BlizzCon. The in-house and community convention will not return this year, but will instead take place on 12 and 13 September 2026. This is unusually early for the event, which typically takes place in early November. The venue will once again be the Anaheim Convention Center.

"For 2026, alongside BlizzCon staples like Opening Ceremony, in-depth panels, the Darkmoon Faire, friendly competition, hands-on gameplay, and more, we aim to meaningfully elevate this iconic celebration and create an unforgettable experience for all who take part in it. We are building this event just like we build our games: with a deep commitment to our players, with respect for your connections to our universes, and as a celebration of the strength of the bonds formed through shared Adventure," said Blizzard.

The last BlizzCon was held on 3 and 4 November 2023. According to Jason Schreier's book Play Nice, the 2023 event was the first BlizzCon that did not sell out.
