Polaris, Germany's second-largest gaming convention, has announced its line-up of gaming exhibitors. The list includes Capcom with Monster Hunter Wilds and Nintendo, while Bandai Namco Entertainment will be making its debut at the Hamburg event. There will also be an indie games section and a retro games exhibition.

The Polaris Convention is taking place in Hamburg from the 11 to the 13 of October, and some of the biggest names in the industry will be there. Capcom is returning with Monster Hunter Wilds, which was playable for the first time worldwide at gamescom. Polaris visitors will be able to try out one of the two playable quests so far. Terry Bogard from SNK's Fatal Fury will also be playable in Street Fighter 6 as the series' first-ever guest character. Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess will be featured too.

Nintendo will be showing off a host of new titles at a large Polaris booth. The Japanese company skipped gamescom this year. Bandai Namco is attending for the first time and will be showing Tekken 8 on PS5.

The Indie Area will feature 14 games, including the action-adventure Constance, the mystery and detective game Morriton Manor Stories: Nordic Whispers and the metroidvania About Cannons & Sparrows, in which you play a small winged cannon. The Gamecity Hamburg stand will showcase new games from five of Hamburg's game studios, including Tiny Roar and Lost the Game Studios. Last but not least, retro games will be presented in an exhibition curated by games journalist and author Stephan Freundorfer, allowing visitors to delve into the history of PC video games.

According to organisers Super Crowd Entertainment, the Polaris Convention is almost sold out. There are only a few tickets left for Saturday.
