Only the second official Nintendo event pop-up store in Europe: The Zurich Pop Con & Game Show has hooked a big one. The Nintendo presence will bring otherwise Japan-exclusive merchandise to the Swiss game festival on 5 and 6 October.

The organisers of the Zurich Pop Con & Game Show have hooked a big one: In an exclusive move for the GSA countries, Nintendo will operate its own official pop-up store on the event in Zurich. It’s only the second Nintendo pop-up store in Europe, after the Japan Expo in Paris.

Apart from a Nintendo game and tournament zone with various current games on-site, the pop-up store will sell merchandise that would otherwise be exclusive to Japan. “The organisers consider it a great honour that Nintendo is now coming to Zurich Pop Con at Messe Zürich with its pop-up store instead of to Germany or Austria,” comments the team of Pop Con.

Zurich Pop Con & Game Show will take place for the seventh time on 5 and 6 October 2024 at Messe Zürich. It covers an area of 30,000 m2 and a various programme, including films and series, games, cosplay, content creation, comics, anime, manga, art, board games and more. In 2023, the festival attracted over 38,000 visitors.
