The Witcher in Concert Series Celebrates European Premiere at gamescom
At gamescom 2025, The Witcher in Concert series will celebrate its European premiere in a show with a capacity of almost 5,000 people. Further concerts will follow in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, France, Belgium, the UK and Sweden.
The Witcher in Concert, a celebration of the 10th anniversary of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, will bring the game's score to life with a live orchestral performance. Selected tracks from the game and its expansions will be accompanied by visuals and gameplay, as well as special guests. CD Projekt Red has officially partnered with gamescom to kick off the tour on 20 August 2025 in Cologne - with a capacity of nearly 5,000 seats.
"As the world's largest games event, gamescom offers visitors the full diversity of gaming culture. This makes it the perfect place to launch the tour. We are already looking forward to welcoming The Witcher and games fans to an impressive concert at gamescom," says Tim Endres, Director of gamescom at Koelnmesse.
"The German-speaking Witcher and CD Projekt Red community has been very important to us for many years. We can't wait to host a concert of this magnitude in Cologne - together with the gamescom team, we will work hard to give our fans and music-loving gamers a great start to the concert series," said Carolin Wendt, Community International Lead at CD Projekt Red.
The Witcher in Concert will take place as part of gamescom 2025, but a separate concert ticket is required. A ticket to gamescom 2025 is not required to attend the concert.
Following the inaugural performance, the international tour has announced its first European stops in Germany (Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich), Austria (Vienna), the Netherlands, France, Belgium, the UK and Sweden. The list of currently available concerts can be found on the The Witcher in Concert website - with additional stops to be announced at a later date, including concerts in North America and Poland.
Tickets for all listed concerts will go on sale on 24 January, with an exclusive pre-sale on 22 and 23 January for those subscribed to The Witcher in Concert newsletter. The full list of venues will be announced over time, with select venues also featuring The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt composer Marcin Przybyłowicz as a special guest.
"I can't believe it's been ten years since we first introduced The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to the world! Music is such an important part of our games, and to see the community respond with such enthusiasm for what we created has been truly incredible," said soundtrack co-composer Marcin Przybyłowicz. "From everyone's favorite 'le le les' to the tracks we used to underscore the most heartfelt moments, every single composition was a joy to create, and I'm looking forward to sharing it with people around the world."
The Witcher in Concert is produced in association with GEA Live and RoadCo Entertainment, producers of live entertainment events in over 40 countries worldwide.
