Gamestate Opens Second Arcade in Berlin
Gamestate has announced the opening of its second location in Berlin. After the success of its first arcade at Potsdamer Platz, Gamestate is now stepping up with a new location just around the corner from Berlin Zoo at Joachimsthaler Str. 1-4.
The new arcade features a mix of state-of-the-art machines, racing simulators and classics such as air hockey. It's designed for all ages.
"We're beyond excited to bring our arcade experience to even more people in Berlin," says Roel Veltmeijer, CEO of the Veltmeijer Group. "This second location means more games, more fun, and more chances for visitors to lose themselves in our vibrant world of play. With a central location and our signature mix of arcade hits, we can’t wait to welcome everyone in."
To celebrate the opening, Gamestate is launching Hunt & Play, a city-wide scavenger hunt from 12 April to 16 April. Across Berlin, 15 playcards will be hidden in "iconic" locations - each one unlocking free game credits at the two Berlin arcades. Clues will be dropped daily on Gamestate's Instagram channel. Two Berlin-based creators will kick off the campaign online.
Gamestate is one of Europe's leading arcade brands. Together with Gametown & Gamecity, Gamestate has over 50 locations in six countries.
