Fantasy Basel, the Swiss Comic Con, is returning in 2026: from 14-16 May 2026 in Basel, the Swiss city at the border of France and Germany.

Apart from film and of course comics, games are on of the pillars of the event: Among the first star guests announced are voice actors Samantha Béart (Karlach) and Tim Downie (Gale) from Baldur's Gate III, along with Harry Potter actor Stanislav Yanevski and Manou Lubowski, known as the German voice of Klösschen in the childhood classic TKKG, Lucifer in the series of the same name, and Jamie Lannister in Game of Thrones.

Mark Wilkinson, UK illustrator for Judas Priest and Iron Maiden for example, will also be on site.

Several big gaming brands have also secured attendance. In addition to a large Nintendo area, The Pokémon Company, Ravensburger, Funko, Sony Pictures, Swiss Milk, Rocket Games, and Canon will also be present with their own stands in a separate gaming hall. The retailers Interdiscount, Media Markt, Müller, and World of Games are also on site. The Swiss Space Museum is bringing exhibitions and a three-day stage program featuring scientists and space experts to the festival.
