Der Hamburger Publisher flashpoint bringt den verfressenen Comic-Kater Garfield für Nintendo DS auf den Markt. Shin'en entwickelte den Titel, der im März 2007 erscheint, für The Game Factory.

"Garfield's Nightmare" heißt der neue flashpoint-Titel, in dem Kater Garfield in Jump'n'Run-Manier den Nintendo DS unsicher macht. "Mit 'Garfield's Nightmare' führen wir eine zugkräftige Marke auf dem Handheldsektor weiter fort. Nachdem wir bereits mit der Adaption der Kinovorlage bei den Fans des pelzigen Lasagnefressers goldrichtig lagen, wollen wir nun mit einer freien Anlehnung an die Comic-Strips direkt an diesen Erfolg anknüpfen", kommentiert Flashpoints Marketing Director Christian Streil den Release. Die digitale Futtersuche wurde von den Münchner Programmierern Shin'en für The Game Factory realisiert und wird eine UVP von rund 40 Euro haben.
