For Business and Public: Games Ground Berlin Returns in Early November
Games Ground Berlin will return at the beginning of November 2026, once again featuring Business and Public Days. Alongside the main event, Games Ground is expanding its year-round offering with 'GG Side Quests', a webinar series featuring skill-building sessions for B2B visitors.
Games Ground Berlin will return to Alte Münze from 5th to 8th November 2026. Tickets for Games Ground 2026 will be available from today onwards, with early access pricing for B2B attendees available until 31 May. Since its launch in 2023, Games Ground has grown into a platform that connects the games industry and its community through dedicated business and public days. Last year, Games Ground welcomed 2,500 industry professionals and 4,000 members of the public. As in previous years, the event is supported by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg.
Taking place on 5 and 6 November 2026, The Business Days will bring together professionals from across the industry for two days of talks, panels and networking opportunities. The programme will feature a range of perspectives on game development, business and trends. Confirmed speakers include Jane Katsubo (Senior Concept Artist at Larian Studios), Fernando Forero (Senior UI Artist at Blizzard Entertainment), Maria Maunula (Senior Game Producer at Supercell) and Adam Snook (SVP of Content Acquisition at Green Man Gaming). This year, Games Ground aims to increase its international presence by forming partnerships with associations, accelerators, and events to encourage greater global participation, delegations, and showcases. In addition, industry initiatives such as Mentor Ground and Career Ground will return. Publisher Connect once again curates publishers and studios from around the world, facilitating matchmaking, while the medianet Games Investment Summit will also continue.
In addition to the main event, Games Ground is expanding its year-round offering with 'GG Side Quests', a series of webinars featuring skill-building sessions across disciplines such as art, programming, design and business. All B2B ticket holders will receive exclusive access to the full schedule of webinars and sessions as part of their ticket. Everyone is welcome to join the first two webinars, regardless of whether they have bought a ticket. The first webinar, 'Building Your Discord Server Through Every Stage of Game Development', takes place on 22 April 2026 and features Colin Loretz and Anthony Tesija, Senior Developer Advocates at Discord. The second session, on 29 April, will be led by Fernando Forero (Sr. UI Artist at Blizzard Entertainment).
During the Public Days (7–8 November 2026), Games Ground will open its doors to the wider community. Visitors can explore an exhibition of indie games, the XR & Alternative Controllers area (including Cyberdelic), and a Steam Sale Event Page spotlighting indie titles. There will also be dedicated spaces, including the Retro Area, LAN Area, and a TCG zone featuring Magic: The Gathering. Live NPCs will return in full costume to offer interactive quests to visitors. Stage highlights include the Games Ground Cosplay Contest, Olaf's Quiz Night Show and the Indie Gameshow, as well as a variety of musical performances and cross-media shows. There will also be additional formats, such as the Nerdistan Stage, which will feature kids' shows, tournaments, talks, entertainment and appearances by content creators. The Public Days will also feature a selection of industry talks designed to appeal to a wider audience, as well as hands-on workshops covering subjects ranging from cosplay design to creating your own board games. A dedicated Kids' Corner ensures that younger visitors can also explore and participate.
