Webedia has announced its programme for gamescom 2025, which includes over 40 hours of live-streaming, an international show format and FYNG City. FYNG (Find Your Next Game) is set to expand beyond Germany.

With 752 square metres of floor space, Webedia will have the largest stand in Hall 10.1 of the entertainment area at gamescom 2025 (according to the company's own information). The centrepiece will be FYNG City, an open concept featuring a show stage, hands-on hardware, live formats, and partners such as NZXT, SteelSeries, Tulpar, Topstar, Hasbro, and Epic Games, all of whom will have their own dedicated spaces. Throughout the entire gamescom week, Webedia will be broadcasting over 40 hours of live streams from the stage, including talks, demos, interviews, premieres and spontaneous live moments. The programme is curated and edited by Webedia, with content provided by the teams behind GameStar, GamePro, MeinMMO, Moviepilot and Filmstarts. Webedia creators such as Maurice Weber and Nerdkultur (Marco Risch) will also be part of the FYNG line-up.

"We're levelling up FYNG - Find Your Next Game - faster than the main character in a role-playing game. We're making an even bigger appearance at gamescom with even more amazing guests, attracting even more international attention. We have our own event page on Steam, and the crowning glory is our jam-packed FYNG Show. If someone had told me that two years ago, when we were broadcasting from a nice little streaming booth in the Creator Area, I wouldn't have believed them. I'm so incredibly proud of everything our teams are achieving here," says Michael Graf, Head of Video Publishing

One of the highlights is the FYNG Show on 20 August, a two-hour streaming event featuring over 30 trailers and surprise guests. Ann-Kathrin Kuhls and Maurice Weber will host the show, which will be preceded by a pre-show with Michael Obermeier beginning at 17:00. Additionally, the FYNG Indie Award will be presented in collaboration with the Indie Arena Booth once again.

With the FYNG Showcase at gamescom 2025, Webedia is launching an initiative to establish FYNG as an internationally recognised entertainment brand. The focus is on localisation of content: the entire FYNG show will be broadcast in various languages, including JV (France), 3DJuegos and 3DJuegos LATAM (Spain & Latin America), IGN Brazil, FYNG & Gamepressure (UK, US), GameStar and gryonline.

"FYNG originated here in Germany, but the strong international response and feedback from the industry demonstrate the concept's significant potential for the global market. In 2025, FYNG and the showcase will therefore be available in seven languages for target groups on several continents via our international brands. For us, the project is also a clear commitment to carefully building a brand, rather than just chasing quick profits," says Dawid Hallmann, Director of Gaming & Tech at Webedia.
