DiGRA 2026 Conference Takes Place in Maynooth, Ireland
The DiGRA 2026 Conference will take place in Ireland from 14-18 June 2026. Paper submission opens are open right now. The conference revolves around the ways in which games are pleasurable.
The DiGRA (Digital Games Research Association) 2026 conference will be hosted at Maynooth University in Maynooth, Ireland from 14 to 18 June 2026. DiGRA is a world-wide association with different chapters in different countries. Once a year, the chapters come together with game studies scholars from around the world in a dedicated conference.
The 2026 conference theme is Intersectional Pleasures, seeking “to reflect and reframe the ways in which games are pleasurable”.

The conference is supported by the Maynooth University Arts & Humanities Institute (AHI) and the departments of Computer Science (CS) and Media Studies (MS).
