On 22 September 2025, Pixelsplit and Sidekick Publishing will launch Deadly Days: Roadtrip in Early Access. The collaboration with Knabe Kola during gamescom will also be expanded.

The newly founded label Sidekick Publishing (Instinct3) and developer Pixelsplit are set to launch Deadly Days: Roadtrip on 22 September 2025 via Early Access.

This zombie survival roguelike with inventory management elements was playable at gamescom. Visitors could also discover a collaboration with Knabe Kola, the new soft drink brand from the HandOfBlood universe created in partnership with Instinct3. As part of a treasure hunt, visitors could unlock President Knabe, one of HandOfBlood's alter egos, in the game, complete with his exclusive item: a can of Knabe Kola. Due to 'overwhelming demand', Pixelsplit and Sidekick Publishing are making this collaboration available to all players worldwide. From the start of Early Access, players will be able to unlock President Knabe and his Knabe Kola item in the game using a special code to be released at launch.
