At the first House of Games Berlin Reception at gamescom, the partners behind the project unveiled the logo and branding for the new games property in the capital, which is set to open in 2026.

In addition to the House of Games Berlin logo, the slogan was also unveiled, which reads: Create. Connect. Empower. According to the project managers, the claim stands for a strong, networked gaming community that works together to find innovative solutions.The overlapping shapes in the logo symbolize development and growth - reflecting the attributes that "House of Games Berlin" will bring to the games and creative technologies industry in the capital.

The reception was opened by Jeannine Koch, Chairwoman and CEO of medianet berlinbrandenburg e.V., Lothar Sattler, Head of Directory 1 - Federal and European Affairs, Media Policy at the Berlin Senate Chancellery, Michael Biel, Secretary of State in the Berlin Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy, and Public Enterprises, as weil as Roland Sillmann, CEO of WISTA Management GmbH, and Alexander Danisch, Workplace and Property Director at Ubisoft Blue Byte GmbH.

"Berlin is becoming the number one location for games in Germany: The House of Games Berlin is presenting itself to an international audience for the first time at the world's largest games fair in Cologne. As a dynamic center for developers, publishers, and creative minds, the House of Games Berlin will strengthen the local gaming and development industry,"  says Florian Graf, Head of the Senate Chancellery and Permanent Secretary for Media and the Metropolitan Region.

And Jeannine Koch, Chairwoman & CEO, medianet berlinbrandenburg, adds: "The House of Games Berlin project is an important signal from the capital to the national and international games industry that a p/ace is being created here that will massively promote networking between smalland /arge studios, start-ups, science, education, and culture."

The "House of Games Berlin" will open in 2026 in the heart of Berlin, near Warschauer Straße, and, with over 10,000 m2 of space, is set to become the first port of call for established companies and start-ups from the games and creative technologies industry, as weil as a vibrant hub for research, science, education, and culture. lt will also offer a variety of spaces for co-working, events, and exhibitions, technology service providers, and multifunctional shared spaces related to games and creative technologies.

The House of Games Berlin will open in the heart of Berlin in 2026, after many years of development within the industry. It will be home to the Berlin offices of Ubisoft and the game association, as well as numerous other partners, and will serve as a beacon for the German games industry.
