Gamescom Congress Calls for Submissions for 2025
The deadline for submitting topics for this year's gamescom congress is 18 May. The congress sees itself as a central platform for highlighting the opportunities that games offer for business, society, culture and science.
It is one of the established traditions at gamescom: on the Thursday of the trade fair, representatives from politics, business, science and education meet at the gamescom congress. This year, it will take place on 21 August. There, interesting topics from the fields of business, society, culture and science will be discussed in numerous panels and lectures. In 2024, over 900 guests took part live on site, and thousands followed the gamescom congress via live stream.
Contributions for the gamescom congress 2025 are now being accepted. This time, the focus will be on the topics ‘The Next Level of Immersion’, ‘Gaming and Responsibility’ and ‘Gaming and Well-Being’. We are looking for practical examples or results from current research projects that deal with innovations in the field of immersive technologies and applications.
In addition, topics that examine the influence of games on business, culture, science, education and technology and highlight new opportunities are welcome. The necessary framework conditions and regulations that support the positive development of the entire games ecosystem should also be part of the discourse.
The deadline for submitting proposals is 18 May. The deadline can also be found in our overview of important deadlines.
