The eighth GDD - GermanDevDays conference is scheduled to take place on 22 and 23 July 2026 at the Saalbau Gallus in Frankfurt am Main. However, this is subject to confirmation of funding from the Hessian Ministry of Economics, Energy, Transport, Housing, and Rural Affairs. The GDD is a german speaking only developer conference.

Anyone wishing to submit a proposal for a talk, panel or workshop can do so immediately via an online form. Topics can cover anything from game design and coding to audio, art, marketing, AI, and other areas. Talks and panels last 45 minutes, while workshops last 180 minutes. Anyone can submit a proposal, including individuals (including students), teams, and companies.

Traditionally, the GDD offers 12 developers or teams the opportunity to exhibit their projects free of charge. This includes an exhibitor table with seating, as well as a free roll-up banner. Applications for a free exhibitor table are now being accepted.

The deadline for the Call for Papers and for applications for an exhibitor table is 27 April 2026. The GermanDevDays are organised by Assemble Entertainment GmbH, under the direction of Stefan Marcinek.
