Trade Mission to UK Game Hubs Manchester and London Takes Shape

Shortly after the election, a delegation of German games companies will visit the British gaming hubs of Manchester and London. The German participants have been confirmed, while British companies interested in meeting potential business partners from Germany are still welcome to register.
The business matchmaking trip was launched in 2024. For interested SMEs from Germany, the registration deadline was 24 November. However, British companies can still sign up if they wish to connect with potential German partners.
The list of German participants is certainly impressive. The following companies, offering services ranging from development and publishing to influencer marketing and event management, will be taking part:

Taking place from 24 to 27 February, the trip will include visits to Manchester and London. It is organised by Trade Horizons Limited in collaboration with Creatives Loop on behalf of the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz (BMWK; German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action). Professional support has been provided by game, Games/Bavaria, and the British trade association UKIE. Additionally, the British developer association TIGA recently encouraged its members to contact the organisers if they are interested.
A similar trip to the UK, focusing on esports, took place in autumn 2024, while a year ago, a delegation of German games companies visited the USA.
