The indie metal label Corrupted Blood Records is a joint venture between Gute Gesellschaft and Throwdown Entertainment and aims to promote newcomers. In September 2026, Instinct3 is also organizing the Corrupted Blood Club Show, which will be streamed on Twitch.
Esports, small-field soccer, soft drinks, and now music—content creator Maximilian Knabe (HandOfBlood) and the Gute Gesellschaft group of companies, which he co-founded, are expanding their business with their latest partnership. Specifically, Gute Gesellschaft and Throwdown Entertainment are founding the indie metal label Corrupted Blood Records. The declared goal is to promote newcomers and open metal to a broader community.
The first signing is to be unveiled later this week. One day later, the first act from the Corrupted Blood Records roster will perform at Core Fest Stuttgart. According to the company, three more signings are planned before the start of the 2026 festival summer.
"For several years now, I have enjoyed the privilege of being able to help shape projects that revolve entirely around my passions and convictions," says Knabe. "With Corrupted Blood Records, I can now not only live out my passion as a metalhead, but also perhaps have a positive influence on the industry – there are an incredible number of awesome, unknown bands that need a little more attention, and we simply have a totally beautiful scene that may not be so easy for everyone to get into. We want to tackle that."
The label is headed by Björn Meyer, managing director of Throwdown Entertainment, who will also serve as managing director of Corrupted Blood Records. "Max, Johannes [Johannes Gorzel, CEO of Gute Gesellschaft; editor's note] and their team work at an incredibly high level, really questioning everything they encounter in the music industry, while at the same time showing curiosity and genuine interest in the processes behind the scenes. It's fun to work together in this special constellation. We always meet on equal terms, and I'm sure that together we can turn some common label thinking on its head."
As is customary with all Gute Gesellschaft activities, the business is being developed further from a content creator perspective. In the case of Corrupted Blood Records, this means that Instinct3, the group's creative agency and HandOfBlood's core company, is also entering the concert promotion business. Instinct3 is planning the Corrupted Blood Club Show event at Huxleys Neue Welt in Berlin on September 4, 2026.
In addition to the live event, which will feature all four bands signed and released by then, the Corrupted Blood Club Show will also be broadcast live via Twitch. However, this is not the first live event organized by Instinct3. Among other things, the Spandau-based agency also organized the Influencer Darts World Cup, which took place at the Uber Eats Music Hall.
