The state of Hesse will once again be represented with its own stand in the business area in 2026. Companies from Hesse can apply until the end of March. Another ‘Making Games in Hessen’ event is also planned for April.
The event will take place on 23 April in Wiesbaden at the HA Hessen Agentur. The free information event will begin at 2 p.m. with a welcome address by Rolf Krämer from the Hessian Ministry of Economics. This will be followed by an update on game hessen, a panel discussion on funding, an ‘ask me anything’ session with various funding institutions, and a series of workshops on topics such as ‘Fundraising & Investor Readiness’ and ‘Introduction to the Perfect Pitch’.
However, the deadline for Hessian game companies that want to participate in the state's planned joint booth at gamescom is before the event.
The deadline for applications is 31 March. Stand spaces are limited, and selection will be made by a jury of cooperation partners. At the same time, 27 August is already worth noting in your diary: that is when the Hesse reception will take place at gamescom. The reception is scheduled to be opened by Hesse's Minister for Economic Affairs, Kaweh Mansoori.
