Winner of the evening at this year's Independent Games Festival Awards was Visai Games with "Venba", but with Bonte Avond, thecatamites and other innovative and experimental indie game developers, a lot of great titles were lauded at yesterday's ceremony.

This year’s Independent Games Festival (IGF) Awards at the Game Developers Conference 2024 brought a big winner, especially since the very same game and studio would later in the evening, at the Game Developers Choice Awards, win two more titles: "Venba" by Vidai Games took home the IGF grand price. "Once Upon a Jester" from Bonte Avond, a studio by two musicians from the Netherlands, won the Best Student Game Award. Other notable winners include "Mediterranea Inferno" by Eyeguys from Michigan, USA, and thecatamites from Ireland with "Anthology of the Killer".

All award categories include price money of 2,000 US dollar except the Grand Prize, which includes 10,000 dollar.
