While Larian came on stage for four "Baldur's Gate 3" trophies at the Game Developers Choice Awards 2024, among them Game of the Year, two industry people were awarded prices for their work: Japanese composer Yoko Shimomura won Lifetime Achievement, Fawzi Mesmar of Ubisoft the Ambassador Award. As surprise hit winner came out "Venba" by Visai Games.

At this year’s GDC awards, the big winner couldn’t have been more unsurprising: With four awards received, "Baldur’s Gate 3" by Larian Games not only takes the most trophies with them, but also the audience popularity award and the Game of the Year trophy.
