Infogrames hat der britischen Company Gremlin Interactive ein Übernahmeangebot unterbreitet. Das Angebot betrifft das komplette Volumen an Aktien, daß heißt insgesamt mehr als 19 Millionen Aktien und 1,8 Millionen Optionen. Der Gesamtwert der Transaktion würde somit rund 25 Millionen britische Pfund (mehr als 70 Millionen Mark) betragen. Nach Angaben von Infogrames wollen die zwei größten Anteilseigner die geplante Übernahme von Gremlin durch den französischen Publisher unterstützen.
