Auf der Game Developers Conference im März wird es noch keinen Xbox-Nachfolger zu sehen geben.

Die Nachfolgekonsole der Xbox mit dem Codenamen "Xenon" wird nicht auf der Game Developer Conference 2005 (GDC) im März vorgestellt. Dies teilt Microsoft mit. Der US-Analyst P.J. McNealy geht davon aus, dass Microsoft die neue Konsole auf der kommenden Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) präsentiert. Bei seinem Einstieg in das Konsolenbusiness hatte Microsoft-Chef Bill Gates die Xbox erstmalig auf der damaligen GDC den Entwicklern vorgestellt.
