With a new Events unit in the Webedia Group, Webedia Germany is driving their FYNG and FYNT event business, such as this week's caggtus booth together with Bethesda. Nielsen reports to Dawid Hallmann, Director of Webedia Gaming & Tech and has cross-border collaboration with Poland in mind.

Webedia consolidates its growing events and show business into a separate unit called Webedia Events. The new unit is part of Webedia Group’s strategy to further develop events and shows as a unifying element for brand identity and community engagement. It includes formats such as Find Your Next Game (FYNG), which will debut a big cooperation with Blizzard and Bethesda for Diablo and Doom this week on caggus in Leipzig, Find Your Next Tech (FYNT) and more.

Kevin Nielsen is taking over as head of the new Webedia Events unit. He has been a full-time employee at Webedia since September 2023 and, after joining as a Senior Project Lead, was promoted to Team Lead for Creative Branded Solutions six months later. He reports to Dawid Hallmann, Director of Webedia Gaming & Tech, who has played a key role in driving the strategic expansion of the events business in recent years.
“With FYNG and FYNT, we’ve laid a strong foundation. The question for me was: What happens if we take this concept further with our full focus? It quickly became clear just how much potential still lies within it. That’s exactly what we’re implementing now, and we’ll see the results this year at events like CAGGTUS, gamescom, and IFA,” said Kevin Nielsen.
“Our events business has impressively demonstrated the potential in this area over the past few years. With this new unit, we are creating the structural foundation to continue this growth in a targeted manner and scale our formats sustainably. “Our goal is to establish events and shows across all verticals as standalone, strong products, thereby creating new opportunities for partners, brands, and our communities,” says Marc-Andreas Albert, CEO of Webedia Germany.
Webedia Germany emphasises a particular focus on cross-border collaboration with Webedia Polska. The Polish team is supposed to bring expertise in brand services, event execution, and booth construction. A key part of this effort will be the close collaboration with Michal Bobrowski, Lead Event Brand Services, who contributes his experience to the development of scalable event solutions for partners and markets.
