Following two weeks of tough competition, M80 were crowned champions of the Blast R6 Munich Major 2025. In the best-of-five final, they overcame the favourites, Team Falcons, to secure the $250,000 prize. Thousands of spectators watched the matches live at the BMW Park Arena, loudly supporting both teams — albeit with somewhat stronger support for Team Falcons. This was the second time that Rainbow Six Esports had returned to Germany. The last time was in Berlin.

In the grand final, the US team M80 beat the Saudi Arabian team Falcons 3–1. The two teams are fierce rivals – the last time they met, at the Manchester Major 2024, the M80 roster also lifted the trophy.

'It's not about me. This team works so hard, and they believe in everything I've told them. Our success isn't down to me, but to the fact that they've all embraced it and built the team culture we have today. Without them, I'd be nothing. They kept their cool — it was so close! One thing is certain: we're not done yet. We're going to win every trophy we can,” says Fabian Hällsten, coach of M80.

Over the past two weeks, the sixteen best Rainbow Six Siege teams have competed against each other. Jume from Team Secret was the only German player in the tournament and had the opportunity to play in front of a home crowd. However, the team was defeated in the lower bracket semifinals by the newly crowned champions, M80. The Munich Major saw nineteen different nations represented.
