The current funding round of Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg sees 19 games and XR productions get funding totalling 1,057,000 Euros. The 12 games get 707,000 euros in total, the three XR experiences get 350,000 euros altogether.
Among the games is funding for the port of Jo-Mei Games’ Sea of Solitude Director’s Cut, which so far is only available on Switch as well as a game by game artist Ruth Bosch, who has so far worked in local games like Reign Breaker but also international blockbusters like Horizon: Forbidden West.
The funding round is the first in 2026 and also the first with the new funding board makeup at MBB.
