Microsoft gibt in den USA Xbox-Käufern ab sofort das DVD Playback Kit gratis dazu. Die Rabattaktion gelte vorerst befristet bis zum 2. November. Beim Kauf einer Xbox und eines DVD Playback Kits erhalten die Kunden einen Rabatt von 30 Dollar - exakt den Kaufpreis des DVD Playback Kit. Das Kit enthält eine Fernbedienung und einen Infrarot-Receiver.
