Independent-Händler, deren Geschäfte in der Jahrtausendflut ganz zerstört oder in Mitleidenschaft gezogen wurden, können auf die Hilfe von Microsoft rechnen.

Die Flutwelle, die in Süd- und Ostdeutschland Schäden in Milliardenhöhe verursacht hat, hat auch Geschäfte von Gameshändlern zerstört. Betroffenen Independents hat Microsoft jetzt Hilfe zugesagt. "Wir werden diese Gameshändler in vielfältigster Hinsicht unterstützen", erklärte Hans Stettmeier, Director Home Retail Division Microsoft, gegenüber GamesMarkt.de. Die betroffenen Händler sollen sich auf der GC - Games Convention in Leipzig bei den Microsofts Distributionspartnern NBG und Hoffmann Interaktiv melden.
