The British publisher Outright Games has announced the family-orientated basketball game NBA Bounce for September, for which it is cooperating with the US basketball league.

NBA Bounce is primarily intended to appeal to very young target groups, which can hardly be overlooked from the look with cartoon avatars. This is probably why it should be no problem for Outright Games to publish the title developed by Unfinished Pixel with an official NBA licence. A simulation that competes with the official NBA2K series would probably not have stood a chance.

However, the title offers enough content to differentiate it from the official simulation game and still offers all kinds of NBA content. Among other things, the mascots of all the teams are integrated as unlockable characters.

"The collaboration with the NBA, an organisation with such an important tradition and great influence on other areas of entertainment, is a new milestone for Outright Games, as it is the first sports organisation we have worked with. For NBA Bounce, it's really cool that we can bring our experience in developing games for young players to help foster a love of basketball, sports and sports video games in the next generation of fans," said Stephanie Malham, CEO of Outright Games.

NBA Bounce will be released for PlayStation and Xbox consoles and PC via Steam on 26 September.
