The second edition of gamescom latam was also a resounding success. Visitor numbers rose significantly, and planning for 2026 has already begun—a date has already been set.

Visitors to this year's gamescom latam were able to admire the exhibition stands of renowned exhibitors such as Nintendo, Niantic, The Pokémon Company, ID@Xbox, Warner Bros. Games, Bethesda, Ubisoft, Roblox, SEGA, Bandai Namco, Supercell, Garena, and Arc System Works. Thousands followed their call, with the organisers counting a total of 131,854 visitors over the five days of the fair. This marks a significant increase on last year, when visitor numbers were roughly estimated at just over 100,000.

Over 1,000 companies participated in this year's gamescom latam in some form, including 200 publishers. The organisers have not yet provided detailed information on the international scope of the event. Data on digital reach is also currently unavailable, at least for the time being. A more comprehensive final report is therefore expected, as there have been no further statements from the organisers or brand partners so far.

What is already known, however, is the date for 2026: gamescom latam will take place from 30 April to 3 May. A VIP Day for invited guests, press, and influencers is also planned for 29 April. The venue will remain the same—the Anhembi district of São Paulo.

Meanwhile, the winners of the BIG Festival, which took place as part of gamescom latam, have also been announced. Despite numerous nominations, no studio from the GSA region made the final cut.
