Age of Empires II Tournament to Be Held in Berlin by GamerLegion

Just before Christmas, the Age of Empires II "Noble Apartment Cup" tournament will take place in Berlin with a prize pool of over $50,000. Sponsored by developer World's Edge, the tournament will take place as a LAN event at the GamerLegion Gaming House in Berlin.
GamerLegion has announced the Noble Apartment Cup, a premier Age of Empires II tournament to be held at the GamerLegion Gaming House in Berlin from 15 to 22 of December. The tournament is sponsored directly by World's Edge, the US studio that oversees the Age of Empires franchise. It is owned by Xbox Game Studios.
The tournament will feature ten skilled players and has a minimum prize pool of $50,000, with the potential to increase through various incentives. The competition will feature a draft system coupled with a map pack that includes favourites and all-new landscapes. It will kick off with a qualifying event from 8 to 10 November. Eligible players will compete for the remaining six spots in the main event, and four elite players will be invited directly.

GamerLegion is an international esports organisation based in Berlin. It was founded in 2017 by Nicolas Reber, a former professional gamer. The team consists of experienced gamers who compete in popular games such as Counter-Strike 2, Age of Empires 2 and Tekken 8. The organisation also offers services to fans and partners such as live events, merchandise, content creation, and one of the largest coaching platforms.
