Xsolla has announced a major expansion of its payment solutions across Asia, Europe and the Americas, as well as a new strategic partnership with Adyen. The company has also announced the LiveOps Management Suite, a dedicated LiveOps tool.
Xsolla has announced a major expansion of its payment solutions across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. "Through expanded coverage in key regions and the introduction of the Xsolla Payment Service Provider (PSP) solution, developers now have unprecedented control and flexibility over their global payments experience - whether they operate under Xsolla's Merchant of Record (MoR) model or manage payments directly via PSP," the company said.
In Europe, Xsolla now supports bank-linked and QR-based payment solutions: Bizum (Spain), Swish (Sweden) and Satispay (Italy). Bizum has 28M users, Swish is used by 8.5M Swedes, and Satispay has 5.3M+ users across 380K+ merchants. "In Europe's diverse and rapidly evolving payment landscape, localization isn't optional; it's essential," said Chris Hewish, President at Xsolla. "By adding support for Bizum, Swish, and Satispay, we’re giving developers the tools to succeed across key European markets."
Xsolla has added ShopeePay (Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand), FPX (Malaysia), K PLUS and AIS (Thailand), Indosat (Indonesia), and MerPay (Japan) - all preferred payment methods in some of the fastest-growing mobile gaming economies. "Asia continues to lead the global gaming economy, especially in mobile," said Chris Hewish, President at Xsolla. "To succeed in this region, developers must meet players where they are on their devices, in their language, and through their preferred payment methods. This is further supported by the fact that digital wallets are the most popular payment method among gamers in the Asian region, with over 75% using them to pay for games. With this expansion, we’re helping developers turn interest into transactions and build meaningful, localized experiences across Asia."
And in the Americas, Xsolla adds support for Pay by Bank and Affirm (U.S.), Affirm (Canada), and recurring billing via Mercado Pago (Brazil). "We're making it easier for developers to reach players in North and South America with payment experiences that feel native to each market," said Chris Hewish, President at Xsolla. "By enabling Pay by Bank, Affirm, and recurring billing with Mercado Pago, we're helping our partners connect with more players, increase conversions, and offer real flexibility in how they monetize across the Americas."
In addition, Xsolla also announced a strategic partnership with Adyen to launch Xsolla PSP (Payment Service Provider) - a new solution for studios that want to operate as their own Merchant of Record (MoR) while leveraging Xsolla's infrastructure and Adyen's global acquiring network.
"We're excited to collaborate with Xsolla to support game developers with the tools they need to scale globally and create seamless checkout experiences," said Trevor Neis, SVP and Global Head of Digital at Adyen. "Adyen's unified financial technology platform will empower game developers to streamline global payment processing, enhance player monetization strategies, and, together with Xsolla, will ultimately drive greater success in the market."
"Game developers today want more control and access to global markets without the complexity of building their infrastructure," said Chris Hewish, President of Xsolla. "With Adyen as our global acquiring partner, we’re delivering a solution that meets these needs at scale, supporting developers who want to grow their businesses on their terms."
Last but not least, Xsolla has announced the upcoming launch of the Xsolla LiveOps Management Suite, a dedicated LiveOps tool. This new tool enables developers and monetization teams to build and operate direct-to-consumer (D2C) LiveOps using a visual canvas within their Xsolla Publisher Account.
"Game developers need to act fast, test ideas, and personalize at scale—but traditional tools are often too technical, rigid, or disconnected," said Chris Hewish, President at Xsolla. "With Xsolla LiveOps Management Suite, we’re removing those barriers. It synchronizes LiveOps activities seamlessly across web and in-game platforms, directly translating player insights into actionable monetization strategies. This new platform gives studios the speed, flexibility, and insight they need to grow D2C revenue and deliver exceptional player experiences all without code."
"Xsolla LiveOps Management Suite enables teams to operate their entire D2C LiveOps conveniently through a single interface. It empowers studios to continuously improve performance through behavior-driven personalization, dynamic trigger-action campaigns, and real-time adjustments. The result is a more agile LiveOps workflow that helps deliver relevant experiences to players while maximizing long-term revenue impact," the company said.
Currently in beta, Xsolla LiveOps Management Suite will be showcased at gamescom 2025, with early access already underway. Select studios use the platform to manage real-time campaigns and explore new monetization opportunities through the Xsolla ecosystem.
