The ESBD (eSport-Bund Deutschland, eSports Association Germany) is expanding its office team. Since mid-July, Aleksandar Kovacevic has been responsible for the association's communications.

In his new role, Aleks Kovacevic will be responsible for communications in the areas of community, marketing and public relations. In addition to traditional association work, a particular focus will be on increasing public awareness of the association as a whole. He has experience in the gaming and esports industry. The 32-year-old currently works at OMG Fuse GmbH as Team Lead Esports and Gaming. Prior to that, he was responsible for gamescom activities at game - the German Games Industry Association - as an esports and digital marketing specialist.

Kovacevic on his new role at the ESBD: "I'm delighted to be able to contribute my expertise to the German esports scene on a voluntary basis. The ESBD represents a broad spectrum of interest groups whose diverse topics should also be reflected in communication and public perception. I am looking forward to the tasks ahead and to working with the volunteer team of the ESBD."

Christopher Flato, ESBD Board Member, adds: "In Aleks, we are gaining a proven expert in communications and esports who will help us position the voice of the association even more clearly.
